Action for Children is a UK children’s charity committed to helping vulnerable children and young people, and their families, throughout the UK. The charity’s 7,000 staff and volunteers operate over 520 services in the UK.

Part of our work is with families to combat loneliness through parent support groups, nurseries, networks for young carers, and for those in care. These groups work towards developing people’s confidence, social skills and self-esteem so they have the tools to integrate into their communities, and in turn, reduce loneliness. We also provide volunteering opportunities across the country.
