Blackburn with Darwen Libraries offer a range of sessions and activities tackling social exclusion. These include (but not limited to), reading groups, art and craft sessions, coffee mornings, events for carers, and help to manage health conditions online. We also offer a range of opportunities to volunteer, and make a difference in the local community. To receive the libraries’ monthly newsletter online, email andrew.orr@blackburn.gov.uk. Volunteering opportunities are available on the Lancashire Volunteer Partnership website: <lancsvp.org.uk>.
