We create a safe space where a woman can be herself, where we can build a strong, supportive relationship with her – giving her the security she needs to take the next steps towards a better life.

We understand that the problems in women’s lives can sometimes come from deeper root causes and so, our connected services are there to improve all parts of her life.

We offer practical support with our Ofsted rated Outstanding pre-school nursery, accommodation support services and weekly foodbank.

Our peer dropin hubs and peer to peer support groups offer emotional support and information in a safe and supportive space. Wellbeing courses, coaching, holistic therapies, healthwalks (and runs!) along with table tennis all offer a chance for connection and building greater confidence.

Through the Inspire service our specialist case workers support women as they go through the criminal justice system. Our MSK case worker provides emotional and practical support in partnership with referrals from the NHS Musculosketal Team.

All our services are underpinned by the belief that that every woman has strengths and abilities – no matter what her background. We’ll support her, without judgement, to develop her self-worth and resilience so she can forge new relationships in the community around her.

At Brighton Women’s Centre we want to give every woman the freedom, the support and the power to change her life – making things better for her, for those around her, and for society.
