Volunteering is a key way of combating loneliness, for both the volunteer and the beneficiary.

Through the website JVN matches those individuals wanting to volunteer with charitable organisations in need of support.
In addition JVN supports Volunteer Management for Charities/Social Enterprises/ Organisations so that they can be more effective in dealing with their volunteers.
Our Supported Volunteering Project connects mentors with those individuals needing support(mental/physical) to actively engage in volunteering roles.

As a faith partner of the NCVO, JVN is the leading volunteer-involving faith organisation in the UK and committed to our role in promoting interfaith volunteering.

Through a series of interfaith volunteering opportunities, such as helping the homeless at Christmas, as well as partnership with other leading faith organisations such as Caritas, we are actively encouraging other like minded organisations to utilise our IP and help them to set up their own Volunteering Network.
