Libraries NI offers a range of social activities that give people the opportunity to join in an activity, share skills and meet new people.

Knit and Natter is a group for anyone who enjoys knitting, crochet or other crafts with the opportunity to share crafting tips and swap patterns and enjoy great company.

Reading Groups are for anyone who loves casual chats about books and reading over tea and biscuits.

Mindful Colouring is a gentle way to help reduce stress using relaxed meditative colouring.

Tea and Newspapers is the opportunity to join in a relaxed discussion about the newspapers of the day over tea and coffee.

Rhythm and Rhyme is a great opportunity for babies and toddlers to have fun and learn in a relaxed venue while parents and carers have the chance to catch up and socialise.

In any one of our 96 libraries you can simply relax and enjoy the company, you don’t have to join in.
