MHA is an award-winning charity that helps improve the lives of over 18,000 older people across the UK every day.

It is the only care provider to offer connected care and support at all stages of later life through specialist care homes, thriving retirement living, and vibrant live at home community groups.

MHA’s live at home schemes help 11,000 people in later life to maintain their independence at home by taking part in, supporting or leading a range of different groups, clubs and activities in the local area.

Each community group is different, with a variety of services tailored to meet the needs of local people including volunteer-led befriending offering support, companionship and friendship to help prevent loneliness and social isolation.
