Sky Blues in the Community is the official charity arm of Coventry City Football Club and operates across Coventry and Warwickshire to improve the lives of the residents. We do this through a range of programmes that fit within our key themes of Sport, Health, Education, and Inclusion.

As part of our older peoples programme, we deliver a programme called Extra Time Hub. Extra Time Hub is a National initiative funded by Sport England and the English Football league Trust that aims to provide older people with a weekly opportunity to socialise, meet new people, take part in new activities, and reduce loneliness.

Coventry’s Extra Time Hub takes place on Wednesday mornings at Henley Green Community Centre from 10am-12noon and during that time we will have quizzes, table-top games, music, laughter, and lots of tea/coffee and cakes. We bring in guest speakers to talk about interesting topics and arrange trips to see Coventry City Football Club play home games as well, and on a monthly basis there is also a lunch club straight after our Hub, which Hub members are welcome to attend.
